The Jones Beach Lifeguard Association is dedicated to honoring, supporting, and uniting the men and women who have safeguarded Long Island’s beaches since 1929. Through education, advocacy, and community initiatives, we promote water safety, advance lifeguard training and recruitment, celebrate service and camaraderie among active and alumni guards, and increase public awareness of the proud legacy of lifesaving that defines Long Island’s State Parks.
